calendar priorities Spangenberg Theatre resides on the Henry M. Gunn High School campus. It serves the needs of both the school and greater community. School facilities are provided primarily for the education of students and is always given first priority. District faciliites are available for community use when the activity is consistent with the best interests of the District and does not interfere with the regular conduct of the educational program. Spangenberg Theatre calendar priorities are thus: Gunn High School, PAUSD, greater Palo Alto and surrounding community Clients. Gunn High School and PAUSD set their event dates and times in January for the following school year. In February, community Clients may request dates within the following new upcoming school year calendar which do not conflict. PAUSD co-sponsored events are guided by the auspices that Clients "may use District facilities, other than pools, without a fee for meetings, recreational activities and fund raising activities that benefit students of the District; however, a fee may be imposed for the use of equipment, supplies, custodial requirements, utilities or any personnel overtime". Community Clients' calendar availability for Spangenberg Theatre reservations operates on a "first to pay deposit, first served" basis. | ||
